Robots coloring book
The first in a series of three coloring books I designed for my children and local sale. These take a curated selection of robots I have drawn and turned them into coloring pages.

Space Coloring Book
The second in a series of three coloring books I designed for my children and local sale. I designed the book to be a continuous sprawling banner of space populated with a curated selection of aliens, spaceships and astronauts I've drawn. The idea is that you can take apart the book and tape the pages together to construct the banner. This was a fun project to work on.

Strange and Weird Coloring Book
The third and final coloring book in a series of coloring books I designed for my children and local sales. This book brings together a curated selection of monsters and weirdos that I've redrawn to be coloring pages.

Art Book vol 1
The Lines Drawn Between Worlds is the first volume of a curated selection of my best work at the time if was designed. Primarily meant to be a personal book for my own shelf and possible gift for friends and family. Each chapter in the book focuses on different forms of my work. The theme running through the whole book is the line itself.

Wongo Tour Poster
Poster designed for an Australian electronic dance music producer and DJ known as Wongo. Based on an earlier illustration I did of a boy wearing a cardboard robot suit knocking over blocks. Of the four initial roughs the concept of Wongo standing in a large crowd of followers all wearing a cardboard robot costume.

No Kitty
No Kitty was a personal project I came up with to try a technique of mixing rough 2d and 3d models in a 3d environment. Inspiration for the illustration was from my cat that would get a little rough at times when playing. The process started with a really rough sketch for the two characters and the type of environment they would be in. I then went into Blender and roughed out the streets and building locations. When I was happy with the composition of the characters in the environment I roughed out the models of the houses, outdoor furniture, vegetation and debris. The 3d vehicles were imported free models to help speed up the process. The rough was then rendered out and brought into Clip Studio and a new rough was drawn adding in further details. A final line drawing was done and flat colors added.

The PartyGoer
This was an illustration I worked on for a process video test for Youtube. I collaborated with my young son for the story of the illustration. You can find the video at the link below.

Photobook Series
A series of covers for family photobooks that span years. The original illustration stems from a wedding invitation that I designed. The theme was growth and change. I chose to show that with the growth in the tree and the progression of the family through their events. The design was kept simple and clean.

Who am I?
My name is Kenneth Webb. I'm an artist and illustrator based in Asheville, NC. As far back as I can recall I have been creating. My primary form of artistic expression is drawing and illustrating.I would describe my style as clean cartoon line work that incorporates stippling, cross hatching, and scribbling to add form, texture, and contrast. When using color, I tend to lean towards semi rendered forms. I pull from my inspirations that include scifi/fantasy paperback illustrations, newspaper comic strips, comic books, television cartoons and a little mad magazine thrown in here and there. My subjects tend to be character based. These character include robots, monsters, demons, aliens, skeletons and the odd ball weirdo. Depending on the project, my illustrations can be playful, ironic, macabre, or somewhere in between.I am comfortable working in both traditional media and digital formats. Ofter I will combine the two to achieve my results. I also draw from my education in graphic design and printmaking for ETSU. Along side my professional work, my personal projects include art books, children's books, artist trading cards, coloring books and stickers. Currently I am developing a series of works with printmaking and quirky story driven zines.I am an emerging professional illustrator open to freelance projects and creative opportunities. Take a look around and see if my work feels like a fit for your project. Whether you need a goofy character, poster for an event, spot illustration, or artwork for a still developing project I would love to hear from you.
